Broadstairs (home of Charls Dickens) town centre is in walking distance to your holiday cottage (about 30 min). You can walk along the beach or on the road when the tide is in. Kingsgate Bay is a very nice sandy beach.

These self catering seaside holiday apartments in Kent are located on the outskirts of Broadstairs. It is a great accommodation in Broadstairs right opposite the sandy Kingsgate Bay.
Here you will find the sea in front, an old castle (Kingsgate Castle) to your right and a comfortable family pub theCaptain Digbyto your left. The rear of the holiday apartment is surrounded by the North Foreland Golfcourse, which is overlooked by the nearby North Foreland Lighthouse.
This lighthouse has been a warning beacon for shipping since 1499 and was the last lighthouse in the country to be converted from manual to fully automated operation. The famous surfing and holiday beach Joss Bay is right next to Kingsgate Bay .
The Thanet cycle path is directly in front of the property. You can leave the bicycles securely in the entrance hall of the house. The bicycle tours around the island are very beautiful.
